Type of Endowment

Endowment are permanent funds with their own specified restriction based on agreement or trust deeds and the principal of which is preserved. The funds are invested and the dividend are used for purposes stipulated by the giver.

Student Endowment Fund

  • Student Endowment Fund has been established on 2019 after getting approval from Jawatankuasa Tertinggi Kewangan Universiti 46th Bil.2/2019.
  • This fund is created as an initiative for Bahagian Pendanaan, Pusat Keusahawanan, Jaringan Industri dan Masyarakat which now is known as Unit Pendanaan, Jabatan Bendahari to assist university in obtaining funds to help the development, well-being and welfare of UniMAP students.

Student Entrepreneurship Development Endowment Funds

  • Student Entrepreneurship Development Endowment Fund was established on 16th July 2015 after getting approval from Vice Chancellor UniMAP.
  • This fund was created as an initiative from the Vice Chancellor Office to create a fund, where the principal is not used and only the dividends or profits obtained will be used to support the implementation of student entrepreneurship development activities and programs at UniMAP.

Endowments tend to be organized as a trust, private foundation, or public charity.
