Alumni Waqf
The Alumni Waqf Fund was officially launched on 15 February 2024 by YBhg. Prof. Dato' Ts. Dr. Zaliman Sauli, Vice Chancellor of UniMAP in conjunction with the 2024 UniMAP Vice Chancellor's Mandate Council.
As information, the UniMAP Alumni Waqf Fund is one of the main platforms for driving and organizing the practice of charitable giving, imparting knowledge through alumni cash waqf fund donations and also opening up opportunities for UniMAP alumni to get involved in the implementation of activities based on charity and charity.
This cash waqf fund will also be used for beneficiaries among alumni, students from the aspect of welfare and human capital development as well as university community activities involving students or alumni.
UniMAP aims to collect cash waqf funds amounting to RM 200,000.00 for the year 2024 and a total of RM 1 million in the next 5 years as stated in the mandate of YBhg. Dato' Vice Chancellor. Accordingly, it is a call for all UniMAP alumni, families of UniMAP staff and students, as well as individuals to contribute to this fund for the benefit of alumni, the university and all its citizens.
